Description
Allium ‘Gladiator Sensation’ is a strong and striking allium that adds rich colour and clear structure to the late spring garden. Similar in form to the classic Allium ‘Gladiator’, this variety stands out for its noticeably darker purple flowers, giving it a deeper and more dramatic presence.
Each tall, sturdy stem carries a large, rounded flower head made up of many small purple florets. The blooms open gradually and hold their shape well for several weeks, remaining attractive even as they mature. ‘Gladiator Sensation’ is easy to grow, dependable and well suited to adding height and impact to borders and larger planting schemes. It performs reliably in exposed conditions, attracts bees and butterflies, and returns year after year with very little maintenance.
