Description
Dahlia ‘Alyshia’ is a refined anemone dahlia with soft shell pink petals touched by warm coral tones. At the centre of each flower sits a raised cushion of deeper florets, creating gentle contrast and giving the blooms extra depth and texture. The open flower structure is what defines this variety. A single outer ring of broad petals surrounds the detailed central centre, giving the plant a lighter and more natural appearance than fully double dahlias. Flowers typically reach around 10 to 12 cm across and are produced freely throughout the season.
Plants grow to approximately 90 to 110 cm tall with a sturdy, upright habit and strong stems that hold the blooms neatly above the foliage. From midsummer until the first frost, Dahlia ‘Alyshia’ flowers continuously, especially when regularly deadheaded or cut. In borders, it blends beautifully with soft pinks, creams and muted purple tones, while the open flower form also attracts pollinators to the garden. It works equally well in cutting gardens thanks to its reliable stems and long-lasting blooms.
Dahlia ‘Alyshia’ grows best in full sun and fertile, well-drained soil. Easy to grow and highly floriferous, it brings soft colour and elegant texture to the garden over many months.
