Description
Dahlia ‘Caproz Josephine’ is a refined fimbriata dahlia admired for its finely split petals and light, feathered appearance. The blooms have an open, airy structure, with delicately fringed petal tips that give each flower a soft sense of movement. The colour is gentle and layered, starting from a creamy white to soft butter base and finished with subtle blush pink edging and light streaking. The intensity of the pink varies from bloom to bloom, giving each flower a naturally unique character rather than a uniform look.
Flowers typically measure 13–18 cm across and are held on strong, upright stems. Plants grow to around 80–100 cm tall and flower reliably from midsummer through to the first frosts when regularly deadheaded. In the garden, Dahlia ‘Caproz Josephine’ works beautifully as a softening element among fuller, more structured dahlias. Its fine texture and light colouring blend easily with creams, blush tones, and soft apricots, while also adding contrast when planted alongside bolder forms.
As a cut flower, it brings delicate detail and movement to arrangements, pairing especially well with roses, ranunculus, and other summer garden flowers. For best results, plant tubers in spring in a sunny, well-drained position and provide support early in the season where needed.

- Depth is measurement of space between the soil line and top of bulb or bare root.
- Set the bulbs or bare root in place, pointed side or sprout side upward.
- Cover the bulbs by replacing the soil and water thoroughly.
