Description
Tulip Orange Marmelade is a vibrant Viridiflora tulip combining rich orange tones with distinctive green markings. The petals display layers of apricot and mandarin shades, accented by vertical green flames that remain present throughout the bloom cycle.
Blooming from mid to late spring, this variety is appreciated for its stability and longevity. Strong stems support the flowers upright, while the blooms maintain structure even in variable spring weather. The colour balance between orange warmth and fresh green detailing gives the flower both intensity and refinement.
At approximately 45–50 cm tall, Tulip Orange Marmelade performs well in borders, mixed beds, and containers. It complements purple, pink, cream, and fresh green plantings, adding contrast without appearing overpowering.
Plant in autumn in well-drained soil in a sunny or lightly shaded position. Top-sized bulbs provide improved stem strength and consistent first-season flowering.
