Dahlia Romance

Dahlia ‘Romance’ is a decorative dahlia valued for its soft colouring and naturally elegant flower form. The blooms are fully double, with neatly layered petals that create a rounded, well-balanced shape that feels full yet refined. Colour develops in gentle waves across the season. Flowers open in warm peach and salmon tones, often shifting toward blush and soft apricot hues as they mature. This subtle variation creates a warm, luminous effect across the plant without ever becoming harsh or overly saturated.

Blooms typically measure around 10–15 cm across and are carried on strong, upright stems. Plants grow to approximately 90–120 cm in height, forming a vigorous, well-structured clump that performs reliably in both borders and cutting gardens. From midsummer until the first frosts, ‘Romance’ produces a continuous succession of flowers. Regular cutting or deadheading encourages further blooming, ensuring a long and productive flowering season.
