Jumbo Double Amaryllis Double Minerva

Amaryllis Double Minerva is a confident and colourful indoor amaryllis that brings warmth and fullness to winter displays. This double-flowering variety is known for its generously layered blooms, which open into rounded, decorative flowers with a rich, sculptural feel.

The petals show a lively mix of coral, orange-red, and warm red tones, softened by lighter highlights toward the centre. Rather than appearing heavy or dark, the colouring feels bright and glowing, responding beautifully to natural daylight indoors. The layered structure adds texture and depth, giving the plant a strong visual presence without looking formal.

Sturdy stems emerge cleanly from the bulb and support the flowers without staking. Several blooms develop per stem, opening gradually to prolong the flowering period. With its balanced height and upright habit, Double Minerva fits easily into a wide range of indoor settings, from windowsills to tables.

Plant with the top of the bulb visible above the compost and place in a bright, warm position. Water lightly at first, increasing once growth is underway. Flowering usually takes place around 8–10 weeks after planting. After blooming, the foliage can be kept growing to help the bulb recharge for future seasons.
