Description
Daffodil Pom Pom Rose is a soft and elegant double daffodil that brings gentle colour to the spring garden. The flowers open in creamy white and slowly reveal warm shades of peach and rose inside the centre. Each bloom is full and layered, giving the plant a light and romantic look. In sunlight the petals glow softly which makes this variety stand out even in simple plantings.
Pom Pom Rose grows to about 35 to 45 cm and flowers in mid spring. It looks beautiful in groups in borders, along paths or in containers. The pastel tones mix easily with tulips and other spring bulbs and give a calm and natural effect in the garden. This daffodil is also very good as a cut flower. The strong stems hold the full blooms well in a vase and keep their shape for many days.
This variety is easy to grow in most parts of Europe. Plant the bulbs in autumn in well drained soil in a sunny or lightly shaded place. Once established the bulbs return every year and slowly increase in number. Like other daffodils Pom Pom Rose is not attractive to deer or rodents which makes it a reliable choice for many different garden settings.
