Description
This beautiful plant features fully double, deep blue flowers that look like delicate pom-poms, set against soft, fern-like green leaves. Blooming from late spring to early summer, it brings texture and charm to borders, beds, and cottage-style gardens.
Blue Barlow is easy to grow, thriving in full sun or partial shade and preferring well-drained soil with some organic matter. It reaches a height of 60-80 cm and spreads about 30-40 cm, making it perfect for planting in groups or mixing with other late spring flowers. This columbine is also great for attracting pollinators, helping to support the wildlife in your garden.
Supplied as bare root plants, Blue Barlow is quick to settle in when planted in spring. It comes back year after year with little effort, offering long-lasting beauty and classic charm. You can also plant it in containers, adding a splash of colour to patios and small spaces.
