Dahlia Molly Raven

Dahlia ‘Molly Raven’ is one of the most exciting modern dahlias to emerge in recent years, combining richly layered blooms with dramatic near-black foliage that gives the entire plant a bold, contemporary presence in the garden. Even before flowering begins, the deep bronze-black leaves and dark purple stems create striking contrast in borders and containers. Plant dahlia tubers in spring after the risk of frost has passed, in fertile, well-drained soil in a sunny position. Water consistently during dry periods and harvest flowers regularly to encourage continuous blooming through autumn. In colder regions, lift and store tubers after the first frost.
