Description
Fritillaria ‘Red Beauty’ is a bold and eye-catching spring bulb. Tall stems grow up to 90 cm high and are topped with rich red, bell-shaped flowers beneath a crown of green leaves. The deep scarlet colour stands out beautifully in the spring garden and adds height and drama to borders.
This Crown Imperial variety flowers in early to mid-spring and looks great planted with tulips, alliums, and other spring bulbs. The flowers also attract bees and other pollinators.
Fritillaria bulbs have a natural scent that helps keep away deer, squirrels, moles, and rodents, making them a great choice for gardens where pests are a problem.
Once planted, ‘Red Beauty’ will return year after year with very little care.

Planting Advice
Plant bulbs in autumn in fertile, well-drained soil, around 15 cm deep and 30 cm apart. Plant the bulbs slightly on their side to stop water collecting in the centre. Leave bulbs undisturbed once planted for the best flowering each year.
