Description

Sanguisorba ‘Korean Snow’ adds an elegant, airy feel to summer gardens. Its slender, bright white flower spikes droop gracefully above attractive gray-green leaves. Flowering from June to September, the blooms look like falling snow suspended in the air, bringing height, movement and texture to garden borders.

Growing to around 150 cm tall, this hardy perennial adds height without taking up too much space. It grows well in full sun or partial shade and prefers moist, well-drained soil. In exposed or windy spots, the tall stems may benefit from support.

For a striking display, plant it alongside dark foliage and red or burgundy flowers. It also looks beautiful with Sanguisorba ‘Chocolate Tip’, creating a contrast between white and deep red blooms, or planted behind blue Agapanthus. Its flowers also attract bees and other beneficial insects, making it a lovely choice for wildlife-friendly gardens.

At DutchGrown, we supply Sanguisorba ‘Korean Snow’ as a bare root plant, ready for spring planting. Dispatch begins in mid-March.
