Description

Papaver orientale 'Mrs. Perry', also known as the Oriental Poppy 'Mrs. Perry', is a beautiful perennial plant that adds charm to any garden. It is loved for its large salmon-pink flowers, each with dark maroon spots near the base of the petals, creating a striking look. The flowers, which are about 10-15 cm wide, bloom from late spring to early summer, bringing a burst of colour.

The plant has silvery-green leaves that provide a nice background for the bright flowers, and its strong, upright stems help the flowers stay standing even in the wind. This poppy is great for creating focal points in garden borders and works well in cottage gardens or mixed plantings. It is easy to care for and grows well in sunny, well-drained soil. While the flowers last for a short time, they leave a lasting impression, and the seed pods that form later in the season add extra interest.
